Withdrawal information
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier, take possession of the goods. If you ordered several goods as part of a single order and they are delivered separately, the period begins on the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier, take possession of the last item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Vintage Car Gear, Sebastian Misselwitz, Eggersweide 89, 22159 Hamburg, Germany, email info@vintagecargear.com, telephone +49 40 87503039, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but you are not required to do so.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer. We will reimburse you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not incur any fees as a result of this reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.
You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the fourteen-day period expires. Please send the goods to:

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are liable for any diminished value of the goods only if it results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Items with fixed designs and personalised goods
Making or printing an item only after you place your order does not automatically exclude the right of withdrawal. The statutory right of withdrawal applies to the items currently offered, which are not individually personalised to your specifications. An exception may apply only to goods that are not prefabricated and whose production depends on your individual choice or specification, or that are clearly tailored to your personal needs.
Statutory rights in the event of defects
Your statutory rights in the event of defective goods apply independently of your right of withdrawal. You will not incur return shipping costs for the assessment and handling of statutory claims for defects insofar as the law provides for this. Please contact us at info@vintagecargear.com if you wish to report a defect. A withdrawal because an item does not suit you and a complaint about a defect are handled separately.
